On 04.05.2026, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and this Court directed the registry to verify whether C.C.No.29 of 1991 on the file of the Court Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Addatheegala is still pending or not. 3. Today, when the matter is taken up, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. As per the direction of this Court dated 04.05.2026, registry informed this Court that the case is still pending. As the learned counsel for the petitioner did not choose to appear, it seems that he is not evincing any interest in prosecuting the Criminal Petition. 4.
