Bala Prasad, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of Sri P. Durga Prasad, learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner, Sri S. Vijaya Kumar, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of Sri A.S.C. Bose, learned Standing Counsel for Municipal Corporations and Sri B. Ramesh, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. 2. On the last occasion i.e., on 08.04.2026, this Court had directed the learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner to verify from the Writ Petitioner whether the cause survives or not and whether the Writ Petitioner intends to prosecute the present Writ Petition. It is also noticed by this Court that there are Unofficial Respondents arrayed as Respondent Nos.7 to 11, who seems to be close family members and there are subsisting disputes among the family members. 3. Learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner would submit that, when he had contacted the Writ Petitioner over the telephone, the Counsel has been informed that the issues have been sorted out between the family members and therefore they do not intend to prosecute the case. He would also submit that the Writ Petitioner is not cooperating with the Counsel for giving anything in writing. 4. Having recorded the same, this Court deems it appropriate to dismiss this Writ Petition for non-prosecution on the ground that the Writ Petitioner had failed to render the required Written Instructions to the Counsel despite being informed about the listing of the Writ Petition. 5. With these observations, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non- prosecution. No Order as to Costs. 4 6.
