The Petitioner is seeking a direction to the Respondents for grant of second in-situ promotion from 2023 and to pay salary, accordingly, under thew Higher Pay Scale Rules, including arrears. 03. The grievance of the Petitioner is that, despite he being due to second in-situ promotion, the Respondents are not granting him the same. 04. Keeping in view the nature of relief sought for, coupled with submissions made at the Bar, the instant Petition is taken up on Board for final hearing and is disposed of at this stage with a direction to the Respondents to consider the Writ Petition as representation on behalf of the Petitioner and accord consideration to the case of the Petitioner projected therein, in tune with the mandate of law/ Rules governing the subject. Let this exercise be completed by the Respondents expeditiously, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this Order, along with Writ Petition and all its annexures. 05.
