Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the name of the petitioner figures in the select panel and therefore, in light of the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Apex Court in case titled “Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir & Ors. Vs. Saba Wani” decided on 30.04.2026, the respondents are under legal obligation to accord fresh consideration to the case of the petitioner. 2. Mr. Raman Sharma, learned AAG is not averse to according consideration to the case of the petitioner in light of the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Apex Court and also in terms of the applicable rules and as per the law. 3. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, no fruitful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition alive, the same is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the respondent Nos. 2 to 4 to accord consideration to the case of the petitioner strictly in terms of the applicable rules and as per law in the light of the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Apex Court (Supra), within a period of four weeks Sr. No. 44 SWP No. 631/2013 Page 2 of 2 from the date a certified copy of this order along with complete set of the writ petition along with annexures is made available to the said respondents. 4. Needless to say that while according consideration to the case of the petitioner and all other stake holders who may be connected with the issue in question, be heard and the petitioner will be at liberty to place on record the requisite documents, if any required, before the respondents. 5.
