Vide order dated 12.07.2024, the revision petition filed by the petitioner has been allowed subject to the direction that the petitioner shall deposit the entire compensation amount of Rs.13,92,000/- within a period of four months, i.e., on or before 15.11.2024. 2. It is admitted on record that as per the time stipulated by this Court, the petitioner could not deposit the entire compensation amount. Therefore, he was taken into custody. Subsequently the petitioner moved application before this Court, which was taken up on 09.04.2026 and he was enlarged on bail. 3. Mr. Jena, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has now deposited the entire compensation amount on 06.04.2026 as directed by this Court vide order dated 12.07.2024. 4. Admittedly there is delay of two years in depositing the amount. Therefore, Mr. Panda, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-complainant submits that he is entitled to interest for the two years. 5. Taking into consideration the submissions of learned counsel for both the parties, it would have been expedient to extend the time as stipulated by this Court on 12.07.2024 to deposit the interest amount. However, no direction is required to extend the time, as the petitioner has already deposited the said amount. Accordingly the delay is condoned. 6. In so far as the interest part is concerned, it would be equitable to direct the petitioner to deposit Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen thousand) as consolidated interest component for the delay of two years in depositing the compensation amount. The said interest shall be deposited within four weeks hence, to be disbursed to the respondent. 7. The I.A. is accordingly disposed of. (S.S.
