The instant petition was filed with the following prayer: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 09.04.2013 passed by respondent no.2 (Annexure No.1); and (ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to work as regular Collection Amin in Tehsil Gyanpur, Bhadohi and pay the regular salary as well as other benefits;" 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by order dated 09.04.2013, services of the petitioner were terminated with immediate effect. Thereafter, on the subsequent petition filed by the petitioner being Writ A No. 922 of 2020 against the suspension order, the petitioner was reinstated vide order dated 30.01.2020 and later he has retired on 31.01.2024. In such view of the matter, the instant petition has become infructuous due to passage of time. 4. Accordingly, the same is dismissed as infructuous.
