Learned counsel for respondents submits that present writ petition wherein suspension of saw mill license of petitioner is challenged, is rendered infructuous. As on 20.01.2014, license of petitioner was cancelled. 2. W.P.No.4034 of 2014 filed by petitioner, challenging said cancellation, was allowed with following observation:- “In view of the above respective submissions of both the counsel, this writ petition is allowed setting aside the impugned proceedings in R.C.No.5184/1998-A2(S-4), dated 20.01.2014, issued by the 4th respondent. It is made clear that so long as the petitioner industry complies with the parameters fixed in Rule 8 of G.O.Ms.No.48, dated 08.05.2018, the petitioner can run its industry without the necessity 2 HCJ & CGR, J W.P.No.3955 of 2013 of obtaining license from the Forest Department. It is further made clear that the respondent authorities right to inspect the petitioner’s industry periodically to check whether the petitioner’s industry satisfies the parameters fixed in Rule 8 of G.O.Ms.No.48, dated 08.05.2018 or not and to take necessary action in case of violation is preserved. No costs.” 3. Learned counsel for petitioner affirms that present writ petition is rendered infructuous. 4. Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, including I.A.No.1 of 2021 shall stand closed.
