On account of the efflux of time, the cause in the writ petition does not survive, as the 1st respondent has also attained the age of superannuation during the pendency of the writ petition and there was no interim order granted suspending or modifying the award under challenge when the writ petition was filed. As such, no further orders are required in this writ petition. 3. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. It is made clear to the petitioners to release the service benefits due and payable to the deceased employee, if not already paid, within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
