The petitioner has challenged the award passed in I.D. No. 209 of 2004 by the Labour Court, Ananthapur, whereby the petitioner was directed to reinstate the 1st respondent and with a further direction to extend continuity of service and attendant benefits, but without back wages. The order was passed on 26.09.2007. 2.
The writ petition is filed after lapse of six (06) years in the year 2013 and no reasons are assigned for filing the writ petition at this belated stage. That apart, the 1st respondent has been reinstated into service in pursuance of the award passed by the Labour Court, Ananthapur. The 1st respondent has also not challenged the award insofar as denial of back wages is concerned. In such circumstances, this Court finds no grounds to interfere with the well considered and well reasoned award. 3. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________ JUSTICE HARINATH.N 23.04.2026 PNS
