THE PRINCIPAL A P RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL BC, BOYS, HILL COLONY, NAGARJUNASAGAR. ...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased toto issue a writ, order or direction more in the nature of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not paying the total HRA by deducting the Standard Rent fixed by the authorities while paying the same in respect of others who are residing in the same Quarters as is evident from Proc.Rc.No. 11398/B5-1/2012, dated 3-11-2012 is as illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory and unjust and consequently direct the respondents to pay the remaining House Rent Allowance amount to the petitioners after deducting the Standard Rent Amount as was fixed by the Joint Collector, Guntur and concerned Engineers in respect of Quarters occupied by the petitioners IA NO: 1 OF 2013(WPMP 34667 OF 2013 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondents to pay the remaining House Rent Allowance after deducting the Standard Rent as annexed hereto for the quarters occupied by the petitioners, pending disposal of the Writ Petition, Counsel for the Petitioner(S): 1. This Court, vide order dated 26.09.2013, granted an interim direction directing the respondents not to deduct the entire House Rent Allowance from the salaries of the petitioners, but to limit such deduction only to the actual standard rent payable by them, as fixed by the competent authority. 3. Accordingly, the present writ petition is closed in terms of the interim orders granted earlier by this Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
