The petitioner has challenged the action of respondent No.1 in terminating the probation of the petitioner vide proceedings dated 01.07.2013. This Court, while admitting the writ petition, suspended the impugned proceedings pending further orders. Thereafter, by order dated 18.02.2014, the vacant petition filed by the respondents was allowed, and the interim order was vacated. During the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner has also attained the age of superannuation. 2. In view of the above considerations, no further orders are required to be passed on merits in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
