OF A.P 2 VISAKHAPATNAM REGION, VISAKHAPATNAM ...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue any appropriate Writ, Order or direction preferably a Writ in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in selecting physically handicapped persons to the posts of Grade II Supervisors though they are not eligible as per GO Ms. No. 28 Women's Development & Child Welfare (Estt) Department dated 22.4.1995 and also the action of the respondents in not taking action on the representation of the petitioner and others dated 19.11.2013 as being illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently set aside the selection of the PH candidates pursuant to Notification dated 2.7.2013 issued by the respondents and pass IA NO: 1 OF 2013(WPMP 46055 OF 2013 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased stay all further proceedings pursuant to the selection of PH candidates to the post of Supervisor Grade II issued in Notification dt. 2.7.2013, pending disposal of the above writ petition and pass Counsel for the Petitioner: 1. GP FOR WOMEN DEV, CHILD WELFARE The Court made the following: 3 Order:- The petitioner is challenging the proposed appointment of physically handicapped persons to the posts of Grade II Supervisors, who, according to the petitioner, are not eligible as per G.O.Ms.No. 28 dated 22.04.1995. The inaction of the respondents in considering the representation of the petitioner dated 19.11.2013 is also challenged in the present writ petition. 2. The petitioner is also seeking to set aside the selection of physically handicapped candidates pursuant to the notification dated 02.07.2013. No interim order was passed when the writ petition was admitted and notice was issued to the respondents. 3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the recruitment in pursuance of the notification has been completed and that none of the selected candidates have been made party respondents to the writ petition. 4. On these grounds, no further orders are required to be passed. 5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
