Mr. Raman Sharma, learned AAG has produced the record in terms of order dated 21.05.2026, a perusal whereof reveals that after the engagement of the petitioners, an Enquiry Committee was constituted, which has found that the orders issued by the ZEO in favour of the petitioners pertaining to their conversion from Education Volunteers to RET, were not genuine and accordingly recommendation was made by the committee for cancellation of the orders. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Enquiry Committee, orders have been rescinded, which are the subject matter of the instant petition. 2. Mr. Raman Sharma, learned AAG submits that even otherwise also the present petition has been rendered infructuous in light of the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Apex Court and prays that the matter be dismissed accordingly. 3. Today, when the matter was taken up, none has caused appearance on behalf of the petitioners. It appears that the petitioners are not interested in prosecution of the instant petition, the same is, accordingly, dismissed for non-prosecution along with connected IAs. 4. Interim direction, if any, shall stand vacated.
