By means of the instant petition, the petitioners seek the following reliefs:- a) Issue an appropriate writ, order or directions in the nature of certiorari for quashing the letter no.3377/Ukhaganaru/Contributory Pension Scheme (Anshadan Pension Yojna) dated 06.05.2010. b) Issue an appropriate order, writ or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondents to consider the employment of the petitioner from the date of his joining in the services in the Irrigation Department w.e.f. 7/7/1989. c) Issue an appropriate order, writ or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondents to deduct the GPF from the salaries of the petitioners as it was made from the year 200-2008 till 2010. d) Issue any other or further writ or orders or directions as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in this matter. e) Award the costs of the petition to the petitioner. f) And for this act of kindness, the Petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that identical issue has already been decided by this Court on 09.03.2018 in WPSS No.399 of 2018, Dhani Ram v. State of U.P. and others.
