The Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition challenging the order dated 23.11.2012 passed by the Collector, Sundargarh in Misc. Appeal Case No.4/2012 under Section 9 of the Orissa Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1972. 3. Heard. 4. Since this matter pertains to the year 2012 and the lease period is already over, hence, the contention raised by the present Petitioner in this Writ Petition does not hold good. However, the Petitioner may approach the competent authority by filing an application for allotment of a fresh land on lease, if available. The concerned authority shall consider the application of the present Petitioner as expeditiously as possible. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
