By way of filing the instant criminal misc. petition, a challenge has been led to the impugned FIR No.240/2010 registered with Police Station Todaraisingh, District Tonk for the offences under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 465 and 120B IPC. 2. At the outset, it has been apprised by the learned Public Prosecutor, on the basis of factual report dated 15.04.2026 furnished by the Station House Officer, Police Station Todaraisingh, District Tonk, that the petitioner has faced trial and benefit of doubt has been given to him in the instant case and he has been acquitted vide judgment dated 27.09.2024. He further submits that under these circumstances, no cause of action survives with (2 of 2) [CRLMP-3353/2012] the petitioner to continue with this petition and the same has become infructuous. 3. Considering the above factual aspect of the matter, the instant criminal misc. petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. The stay application as well as all pending applications, if any, also stand dismissed. 4.
