Prayer in this writ petition is for setting aside Provisional Assessment Notices dated 13.01.2012 issued by respondents for sums of Rs.46,378/- and Rs.12,267/- respectively. 2 HCJ & CGR, J W.P.No.3745 of 2012 2. Learned counsel for respondents submits that this writ petition is rendered infructuous as amount due, as assessed, has been deposited by petitioner since long and electricity connection is lying restored. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner does not have any instructions on this aspect. 4. This Court, vide order dated 14.02.2012, had directed respondents to restore power supply to petitioner’s service connection No.5900 in the name of Smt Goli Krishnaveni and service connection No.5788 in the name of Smt P. Manga Thayaru subject to condition that petitioner shall pay 50% of demanded amount in respect of both these service connections. 5. Learned counsel for respondents submits that power supply was restored in terms of said interim order after deposit of 50% of demanded amount. However, rest of the amount has also been deposited by petitioner on 26.12.2025 and therefore, present writ petition is rendered infructuous. 6. Keeping in view the facts as aforementioned, we do not find any justification in continuation of present proceedings, which are, accordingly closed. Question of law, if any, as may be arising, shall be kept open to be decided in appropriate proceedings. 3 HCJ & CGR, J W.P.No.3745 of 2012 7. Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. Liberty is granted to petitioner to file an appropriate application in case any incorrect fact has been placed before us. No order as to costs.
