This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order dated 23.04.2011 passed by the learned Judge, Family Court, Bhubaneswar in C.P. No. 481/2011 (Annexure-1), directing the Petitioner to pay an amount of Rs.6,000/- towards the maintenance of his daughter- Opposite Party No.2. 2. While issuing notice on 16.05.2011, as an interim measure this Court had directed that in place of Rs.6,000/-, Rs. 5,000/- should be paid towards monthly maintenance. 3. Mr. S. K. Das, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the in the meanwhile, Opposite Party No.2 has become a major and as the marriage between the Petitioner and Opposite Party No.1 has been dissolved by a decree of divorce, nothing remains to be decided in this Writ Petition. 4. As no useful purpose will be served by keeping it pending, considering the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of. 5. Pending interim application, if any, stand disposed of.
