Civil Suit No. 117/2011 17.06.2026 Present: Mr. Ajay Kumar, Senior Advocate with Mr. Sumit Sood, Advocate, for the plaintiff. Mr. Karan Singh Kanwar, Advocate, for the defendant. The value of the present suit for the purpose of Court fee and jurisdiction has been fixed at Rs. 40,80,000/-(rupees forty lacs and eighty thousands only). As per Notification No. HHC/PJ/93-I, dated 17.10.2022 and Corrigendum dated 06.12.2022, Court of Senior Civil Judge shall exercise the jurisdiction in all Original Civil Suits, the value of which does not exceed Rs. 60,00,000/- (Rupees Sixty Lacs). Since the present suit has been valued by the plaintiff at the rate of Rs. 40,80,000/- and the defendant and the plaintiff-company entered into a sub contract on 11th January, 2005 at Shimla, therefore, with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the suit is transferred to the Court of learned Senior Civil Judge, Shimla, District Shimla, H.P., who shall dispose of the same in accordance with law. The parties are directed to appear before the aforesaid Court on 21.07.2026. The records be sent to the said Court, forthwith, so as to reach well before the date fixed.
