, -./ This instant appeal had been preferred against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 09.03.2011 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Tarn Taran in Sessions Case No. 110 of 2003/2008 whereby the appellant had been convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of three years and to pay fine of Rs. 3000/-(and in default of payment of fine to further undergo rigorous imprisonment of one and half months) for commission of offence under Section 27 of the Arms Act and for a period of 06 months under Section 324 of the IPC in case bearing FIR No. 84 dated 02.05.2002 registered under Sections 307/326/148/149 of VISHAL SHARMA 2026.03.10 09:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document 0'01120'0"33

( the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act at Police Station Patti. Learned State Counsel on instructions from Inspector Kanwaljit Rai, Police Station City Patti, Tarn Taran, contends that the appellant has since then passed away on 19.05.2013. The present petition is accordingly disposed of as having abated on account of death of the appellant-accused. Liberty is, however, granted to the LRs of the appellant to seek revival of the present appeal, in an event they intend an adjudication on merits. Disposed of as having been abated.
