Therefore, the present Contempt Case survives. 2. Final order in the writ petition came to be passed on 26.11.2007, and thereafter, present Contempt Case has been preferred in the year 2010. Due to efflux of time, cause in the Contempt Case does not really survive. 2 3. However, learned counsel for the petitioners states that as there is a consequential direction to the respondents that in case the petitioners were successful in the interview, their cases since were directed to be considered in the existing vacancies, there is a possibility of petitioners securing employment. 4. In view of the same, the Contempt Case stands closed, granting liberty to the petitioners to revive the same in case any cause survives. No order as to costs.
