JUDGE sts M.SASIDHARAN NAMBIAR,J. --------------------------------------------- W.P.C.NO.3964 OF 2008 --------------------------------------------- Dated 27th October, 2010 JUDGMENT Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for a direction to hand over investigation of Crime Nos.666/2007, 667/2007 and 668/2007 of Town East Police Station, Thrissur to a Senior Police Officer for proper investigation. Wife of the petitioner was subsequently got impleaded as additional sixth respondent. Learned counsel appearing for the sixth respondent pointed out that final report in Crime Nos.666/2007 and 667/2007 were already submitted and challenging the cognizance taken against one of the final reports, accused has already approached this Court to quash the same. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the WPC 3964/08 2 petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the sixth respondent submitted that matrimonial disputes between them are being settled. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in such circumstances, writ petition may be disposed. 3. The writ petition is filed to hand over investigation of three crimes, of which final reports were already submitted in two cases, I do not find that it is necessary to hand over the investigation of the third case to another police officer, as sought for. Petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report, if necessary. Even if final report is filed, it will not be an impediment for the settlement. Petition is disposed.
