Learned counsel for the appellant submits that during the pendency of the present second appeal, the appellants and the respondent have arrived at an amicable settlement to the present dispute vide the letter dated 21.10.2024, wherein it has been resolved as under: "

He therefore, submits that the present appellants wishes to withdraw the present second appeal in terms of the amicable (2 of 2) [CSA-540/2009] settlement arrived between the parties vide letter dated 21.10.2024. 3.
