Learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.2 to 4 refers to para 7 and 12 of the written statement wherein it has been stated that an amount of Rs.50,000/- was paid to the petitioner as Gratuity along with interest, however, he was not entitled to Rs.1 lakh as the amendment carried out in the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 was of 1994, which was not applicable retrospectively and the fact that he was member of PPF Scheme, hence, was not entitled to Pension Scheme. 2.
