Despite repeated calls, none appears on behalf of the appellant, whereas Mr. Abhimanyu Sharma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State is present. 3. Perusal of record shows that vide communication dated 25.04.2026 of Assistant Registrar, Criminal Appeal Section of this Court, a living status report of accused appellant was called for. In response thereto, Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, submitted a report dated 18.05.2026 based on the Patna High Court CR. APP (DB) No.787 of 2009(4) dt.24-07-2026 2/2 information furnished by S.H.O., Dighwara, Police Station apprising this Court that the sole appellant namely, Bindubhushan Singh has died during pendency of this Criminal Appeal. The Death Certificate issued by the Mukhiya, Gram Panchayat Raj, Sitalpur, Dighwara (Saran), Bihar, is also enclosed along with the said report. 4.
