Mr. Vipul Agarwal, learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the petition which was filed against the seizure of the cash, is pending since 2008 which seizure was made in 2002. 3. We feel that since the period of more than 17 years has since lapsed, the petitioner’s grievances (if any) must have been resolved and/or the cash, which was seized by the Department, must have been adjusted against the demand.
