Punjab. * * * * Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that following order was passed at the time of admission of this writ petition on 02.03.2007: “Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the controversy in the instant writ petition is similar to the one arising in Civil Writ Petition No.8578 of 2000. Admitted. List along with Civil Writ Petition No.8578 of 2000. Notice regarding stay returnable for 28.05.2007. In the meantime, the transfer of the petitioner from CID Intelligence Department shall remain stayed.” Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that similar writ petition i.e. CWP-8578-2000, which was ordered to be listed alongwith the present writ petition, was dismissed as withdrawn vide order dated 06.02.2007 by filing an application bearing C.M. No.15089 of 2006. However, he further submits that he has no instructions from the petitioner whether he wants to pursue this writ petition or not in view of the aforesaid situation. Therefore, this writ petition be consigned to the record room with liberty to the petitioner to revive the same by filing an appropriate application, if need arises.
