This is an appeal preferred by the claimants seeking enhancement of compensation awarded by the learned Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Panipat, vide award dated 01.03.2006. 2. The appeal pertains to the year 2006 and was admitted to regular hearing vide order dated 17.11.2006. The appeal has been listed for hearing after considerable time and it is brought to the notice of this Court that there is no representation on behalf of respondent No.1, i.e. owner of the offending vehicle. It is also submitted that the said owner is aware of the pendency of the present appeal as he has preferred an independent appeal, which has been registered as FAO-4187-2006. 3. Mr. V.D. Sharma, Advocate, appearing on behalf of the appellants submits that the appellants have taken back the brief from him and he no longer represents them.
