By way of filing the present petition, the petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to the respondents to consider and promote him to the post of Secretary, Municipal Corporation, with effect from the date the persons junior to him viz-a-viz respondents No.3 to 6 have been promoted. 2. The instant petition stands admitted, vide order dated 08.05.2007. 3. The office has listed the present petition in IOIN category for completion of service of respondent No.3, who has been unserved uptil now on account of incorrect address. 4. On 18.04.2026, the following order was passed:- “Learned proxy counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the counsel who has filed the main writ petition is now on the panel of the local body, as such, he cannot represent the petitioner in the present case. Let notice be issued to the petitioner for VINAY 2026.07.10 15:06 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment IOIN-1-CWP-11612-2006 in/and CWP-11612-2006 -2- 10.07.2026.” 5. In terms of the above-said order, it has been reported by the Registry that the petitioner has since been died. 6.
