The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the decision taken by the Syndicate of the respondent-University in its meeting held on 24.09.2005 in Agenda Item No. 21. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not wish to press the present petition at this stage, as he has no instructions from his client. 3. Dismissed as not pressed at this stage. 4. Liberty is however granted to the petitioner to revive this petition in case any cause of action survives. 5. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
