(Oral) The instant appeal has been filed against the judgment dated 01.04.2005 passed in P.C. Act File No.13 of 21.07.1999 arising out of case bearing FIR No.56 dated 09.08.1997 registered under Section(s) 409, 465, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section(s) 13(1)(c) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 at Police Station Vigilance Bureau, Ferozepur Range, District Ferozepur, whereby the respondent-accused had been acquitted. 2. Learned State Counsel contends that during the pendency of the present appeal, the respondent-accused/Mohinder Singh son of Bachan Singh had died on 19.03.2018. A death certificate to this effect has also been produced and the same is taken on record. 3. In view of the above, the present appeal is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. 4.
