(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari seeking quashing of order dated 24.01.2005 (Annexure P-6) whereby the grant of benefit of promotional increment to the petitioner on completion of 23 years of service in terms of policy circular on the subject and granted with effect from 03.02.2002 vide order dated 21.11.2002, has been withdrawn without issuance of any show cause notice rendering the same to be in violation of the principles of natural justice.
