JUSTICE AMIT MAHAJAN O R D E R % 05.08.2026 1. By the present petition, which has been pending from last more than 20 years, the petitioner challenged the award dated 24.08.2004 (hereafter ‘the impugned award’) in I.D. No.102/96 that was passed on a reference made by the Central Government in the year 1996. 2. By the impugned award, the learned Presiding Officer, Labour Court held that the workmen have already been paid in accordance with the recommendations of the 5th Pay Commission and in the absence of any other agreement between the workmen and the management, they are not entitled for a different pay scale. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is not in contact with any of the workmen. 4. The dispute is very old. The workmen were engaged between the years 1957 and 1991 for the work of Mali/ cook. This is a digitally signed order.
