There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. On the last date of haring, counsel for the petitioner Mr.Pankaj Gupta, Advocate was contacted on telephone by the staff of Lok Adalat but after verification, he stated that he is not counsel in this case. Thereupon, notice was ordered to be issued to the petitioner to appear in person before the Lok Adalat for today. Notice issued to the petitioner has been received back unserved as not residing at the given address.
The petitioner was appointed as System Manager-cum- Consultant on contract basis initially for one year on 09.12.1999. His term was extended till September 2004 and when he requested for further extension of period of his contractual appointment which expired on 02.10.2004, no extension was granted to the petitioner.
On the other hand, respondents issued advertisement for recruitment on the said post on contractual basis for one year to be extended on yearly basis. The petitioner challenged the said advertisement and sought direction to allow the petitioner to continue in service.
No interim stay was granted to the petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
