The petitioners, through the medium of the present writ petition, have sought a direction upon the respondents not to interfere or disengage their services as Gram Rozgar Sahayak (GRS); with a further direction that the respondents should be asked to release their salary. A further relief challenging Order No. 236-RD & PR of 2018 dated 11.09.2018 has also been sought. 02. Heard and considered. 03. It appears that respondent No. 1 has issued the impugned order dated 11.09.2018 whereby the Deputy Commissioners have been asked to conduct an enquiry with regard to the role of the departmental officers in issuance of engagement orders of staff in contravention to rules in vogue and furnish report with a specific recommendations regarding action to be taken in light of the findings of their enquiry. It seems that the petitioners are Regular List Sr. No. 39 2 SWP No. 2003/2018 apprehending that their engagements may be cancelled by the respondents under the garb of the impugned order dated 11.09.2018. 04. The writ petition has been filed only on the basis of aforesaid apprehension of the petitioners though the respondents have not taken any action as yet. Vide interim order dated 28.09.2018 passed by this Court, the petitioners have been given protection to the effect that their disengagement, except by following due process of law, has been stayed and it has also been directed that their salaries for the period for which they have worked should be released. 05. Having regard to the nature of controversy involved in this case and keeping in view the fact that so far the respondents have not taken any action against the petitioners, the petition is disposed of with a direction that the respondents shall not disengage the services of the petitioners without adopting due process of law and they shall keep on releasing the salary of the petitioners for the period, they would actually work with the respondents. 06.
