Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in light of the judgment passed by Hon’ble the Supreme Court in CA No.6691-6922 of 2015 titled as Gurdas Singh and others Vs. State of Punjab and others, decided on 01.09.2025, the petitioner is entitled for grant of senior scale and selection scale/grade. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that she will be satisfied, if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of senior scale and selection scale/grade taking into consideration the judgment passed by Hon’ble the Supreme Court in Gurdas Singh and others’ case (supra) as well as order dated 02.02.2018 (Annexure P-7), in a time-bound manner. 4.
