This Criminal Revision has been filed challenging the judgment dated 11.02.2002 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Puri in Criminal Appeal No.18 of 1998 dismissing the appeal and confirming the judgment dated 23.09.1998 by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Puri in SPE Case No.14 of 1982, convicting the Petitioner for commission of offences punishable under Sections 471 and 411 of the IPC and sentencing him to undergo R.I. for 3 years on each count and also to pay a fine of Rs.10,000/- under Section 471 of the IPC, in default to undergo R.I. of six months more. 2. None appears for the Petitioner when the matter is called even though the names of Mr. P.K.Maharaj and P.C. Jena, learned counsel, who are practicing in this Court are reflected in the cause list as counsel for the Petitioner. None had appeared for the Petitioner on 04.02.2026, 22.10.2025, 10.09.2025. This Revision had been admitted on 19.03.2002 and the Misc. Cases for bail and stay of realization of fine have been allowed. 3. As per the memo filed by the learned counsel for the CBI, it has been stated that in spite of best efforts to ascertain the whereabouts of the Petitioner, his whereabouts could not be ascertained due to incomplete address details. 4. In view of the report of the CBI and non-appearance of the learned counsel, the CRREV is dismissed for non-prosecution. 5. The orders granting bail and staying realization of fine stand vacated. 6. It is open to the Petitioner to file an application for restoration within a period of four months, if he wants to pursue this Revision. 7. Copy of this order be sent to the Court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Puri forthwith by the Registry. (Savitri Ratho) Judge RKS
