This petition impugns the award dated 8.8.2001 (Annexure P-4) passed by the Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Bathinda, in Application No. 56 of 1997 filed by respondent No. 1 under Section 33-C(2) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners, after having instructions from the quarter concerned, apprises this Court that since the amount in question, is a meager amount, therefore, he does not wish to press the instant writ petition. However, he submits that liberty be reserved to the petitioners, to raise all legal issues in apt motion, as and when the occasion arises in the future, and further, this order may not be treated as a precedent. 3. Learned counsel for respondent No.1, extends no objection to the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners.
