262 IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH FAO-46-2002 Date of Decision: 13.07.2026 PARVINDER KAUR AND OTHERS
... APPELLANTS VS.
DARSHAN SINGH AND ORS ... RESPONDENTS CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PARMOD GOYAL Present: None for the appellants. Mr. Suvir Dewan, Advocate, for respondent No.2. **** PARMOD GOYAL
, J. (ORAL)
Before the learned Lok Adalat, learned counsel for the appellants had made a statement that he has not been able to contact the appellants for the purpose of settlement. Accordingly, on his request, notices were issued to the appellants at the given address. However, as per office report, the appellants are not residing at the given address and are residing abroad. In these circumstance, none is appearing on behalf of the appellants and it is not possible to serve the appellants in the absence of available correct address. In these circumstances, it seems that appellants are not interested in prosecuting the present appeal. Accordingly, the present appeal is dismissed for non- prosecution with liberty to the appellants to seek revival of the present appeal on showing just cause. 13.07.2026 (PARMOD GOYAL) smriti
