(ORAL) On account of injuries sustained in a motor vehicular accident, claim pe&&on under Sec&on 166 of the Motor Vehicle Act was filed by the appellant seeking compensa&on from the driver-cum-owner and insurer of the offending vehicle. Learned MACT, Hisar has awarded compensa&on of ₹79,115/- vide an award dated 25.07.2001 payable jointly and severally by the respondents. Addi&onal evidence was taken on record by the Tribunal as per the direc&on of this Court and as conceded by counsel for the insurance company the bills of ₹79,968/- have been produced showing the expenses incurred on medicines and transporta&on. Having regard to the aforesaid bills and with the consent of counsel for both the sides, the enhanced amount awarded to the NEETIKA TUTEJA 2026.02.03 16:04 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document FAO-1269-2002 (O&M) -2- appellant is ₹1,00,000/-, which is in addi&on to the amount already awarded by the Tribunal.
