(Oral) 1. On the previous date of hearing, following order has been passed: “No one has put in appearance on behalf of the claimant/appellant in FAO-1570-2003. Notice to the appellants/claimants in FAO-1570-2003 and respondent No.1 in FAO-5901-2002 be issued for 01.05.2026. New India Assurance Company is exempted from appearance as the liability was fixed that of appellant of FAO-5901-2002, who is respondent No.1 in the claim petition. New India Assurance Company was not a party in the claim petition, so, New India Assurance Company is exempted from appearance” 2. As per the office report, the appellants in FAO No. 1570 of 2003 have been duly served. Further, the notice issued to respondent No. 1, Hari Singh, in FAO No. 5901 of 2002 has been received back duly served. The present matters pertain to the year 2002–2003. Despite service, no one has put in appearance on behalf of the appellants. It can, therefore, be reasonably inferred that the appellants are not interested in pursuing the present appeals.
