FAO-3647-2002 1 IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH 228 FAO-3647-2002 Date of Decision:-02.04.2026 Santosh Parmar and others ……Appellants Versus Chander Parkash and others ..……Respondents CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL **** Present: Mr. K. S. Dhanora, Advocate, for the appellants. Mr. Mayank Mathur, Advocate, for respondent/OIC. **** AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL , J. (Oral) 1. As per order dated 15.01.2026, it was made clear to learned counsel for the appellants that since the appeal is pending for the past more than twenty three years, his non-appearance on the next date of hearing would entail that the appellants are not interested in pursuing the appeal and the same shall be dismissed for non-prosecution. 2. Today, learned counsel for the appellants has appeared and submits that he has no instruction in the matter as the appellants are not in contact with him. 3 In view of the above, and considering the fact that the present appeal pertains to the year 2002, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the matter pending. Accordingly, the present appeal is dismissed for non-prosecution, with liberty to the appellants to seek revival of the same, if so advised, as per law. FAO-3647-2002 2 4. Pending applications, if any, shall stand disposed of. (AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL) JUDGE 02.04.2026 anil Whether speaking/reasoned:- Yes/No Whether Reportable:- Yes/No
