The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of certiorari, for quashing the impugned part of the order dated 17.02.2000 (Annexure P-7) passed by respondent No.1 and order dated 13.01.2001 (Annexure P-8), passed in pursuance to the order of respondent No.1. 2. On 29.02.2024, learned counsel for the petitioners had sought an adjournment to get instructions from the petitioner as to whether anything survives in the present petition or not. 3. Learned Senior counsel for the petitioners submits that despite his best efforts, he has not been able to get further instructions from the petitioners and submits that the present petition be disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to revive the same, if any cause still survives. 4.
