None had been appearing on behalf of the petitioner whereupon notice was issued. As per office report, the petitioner has expired. It seems that the legal representatives of the petitioner may not be interested in pursuing the case any further. Dismissed for non-prosecution at this stage. Liberty is, however, granted to the legal representatives of deceased Surjit Singh-petitioner, to move an appropriate application for revival of the present petition and to seek hearing of the same, if so advised.
