1. Instant petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners and to regularise them in service in accordance with various resolutions passed by the Committee as also the Government notification dated 23.01.2001 (Annexure P/6-A). Further prayer has been made for grant of salary to the petitioners at the minimum of the regular pay scale+all allowances and arrears of salary as such for a period of three years prior to the filing of the present writ petition in accordance with various judgments of this Court and the Hon’ble Supreme Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that during the pendency of the present petition, the services of petitioners No.1, 3 and 4 have been regularised vide order dated 29.08.2011 (Annexure P-20) and petitioners No.2 and 5 have already resigned from their service. He submits that for the surviving grievance of the petitioners, they may be granted liberty to submit a detailed representation to respondent No.2, which may be considered and disposed of in a time-bound manner.

Learned counsel for the respondents have no objection to the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 that if any such representation is submitted by the petitioners within a period of one month from today, the same shall be considered and disposed of within a period of three months thereafter, by passing a speaking order.
