The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order (Annexure P-1) vide which the appeal of petitioner for change of allocation from Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited to Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited has been rejected as well as the order dated 08.03.2000 (Annexure P-3) vide which the representation was rejected for the first time and further directing the respondents to allocate the petitioner to Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited.

Mr. Padamkant Dwivedi, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.2 and filed his Power of Attorney, which is ordered to be taken on record. Registry is directed to place the same at an appropriate place.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, at the very outset, submits that nothing survives for adjudication in the present petition. He, therefore, prays that the present writ petition be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
