At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions received from Ms. Poonam Preet Kaur, P.C.S., Secretary, R.T.A., Patiala, submits that the permits in question were not renewed after 31.03.2015 and 27.03.2021, respectively, in CWP-13981-2001 and CWP-13984-2001 and, consequently, no cause of action survives for adjudication in the present writ petitions.
