2. This appeal is filed against the judgment and order dated 27.11.2001 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Pune in Sessions Case No.330 of 1998.
2. In the aforesaid sessions case, the appellant and other co- accused were tried for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 306, 304(B) read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code (for short IPC).
3. By the impugned judgment and order, the learned Additional Sessions Judge has convicted the present appellant for the offence punishable under Section 498-A of the IPC and sentenced him to suffer R.I. for one year.
