Goswami, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State respondent. 2. This is an application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 for granting bail to the petitioner namely Ramizur Rahman in connection with Paltanbazar P.S. Case No. 183/2026 registered Sections 351(2)/ 115(2)/ 118(2)/ 109(1) of BNS, 2023, who was arrested on 09/07/2026. 3. As per the complaint, the petitioner assaulted his wife after an altercation and attacked with a sharp dagger with an intention to kill her and because of Page No.# 2/2 deep cut injury while she tried to defend herself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that considering the length of detention of 30 days and the nature of the allegation, the prayer for bail may be considered. 5. It appears from the forwarding report that the witness furnished evidence that she was assaulted by the petitioner with deadly weapons but no mentioned any grievous injury is made. The investigation of the case is complete and charge sheet has been submitted. 6. Having regard to the above as well as considering the period of length of detention of 30 days, further detention of the petitioner is not necessary in the interest of the investigation. 7. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is allowed. 8. The petitioner named above be released on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 50,000/- with 2 sureties each of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned learned Trial Court. It is further provided that the petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation and shall not try to tamper with the evidence in any manner. 9. The petition stands allowed accordingly. 10.
