SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J The present petition has been filed for quashing order dated 07.09.2000, whereby respondent No.3 has been promoted to the post of Naib Tehsildar without considering the eligible claims of the petitioner, as also for issuance of a writ of quo-warranto thereby declaring the appointment/promotion of respondent No.3 as void abinitio, and further directing respondent Nos.1 and 2 to consider and promote the petitioner to the post of Naib Tehsildar with effect from the date person junior to him has been promoted, with all consequential benefits. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would seek withdrawal of the instant petition stating that the petitioner has superannuated from the service and the relief claimed in the petition was granted and by that time, he was duly promoted to the post of Naib Tehsildar. 3. In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner categorically states that no grievance is left to be adjudicated by this Court. Hence, he seeks withdrawal of the instant petition.
